HCMS New Member/Young Physician Reception

HCMS Member Physicians are invited to enjoy a complimentary evening with your family while you explore The Health Museum (The John P. McGovern Museum of Health & Medical Science), connect with colleagues to build your referral base, and earn a one hour ethics CME credit by attending the CME presentation. This event has something for everyone, including:

This event is free for HCMS member physicians. Physicians who are not members of HCMS will be charged $75 to attend. Event includes 1HR Ethics CME, food, beverages, museum admission and KidZone activities. Parking fees may apply.

Physician-Patient Relationships: Challenges, Trends & Emerging Technology

CME Ojectives:

Identify patients who pose a high risk for filing Medical Board complaints; Identify situations in which patient encounters via telemedicine are appropriate and inappropriate; Understand the new rules pertaining to controlled substance prescribing; Understand the potential ramifications of hospital peer review actions.

Event Schedule

6:00 - 7:30 p.m.: Enjoy alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, grab some delicious food and connect with colleagues while your children are fed and entertained in the KidZone*.

7:30 – 8:30 p.m.: Network or attend the CME course for one hour of ethics credit while your children continue enjoying their special KidZone activities.

8:30 p.m.: The reception ends, and parents reunite with their children.
