► PROOFING: Medical and Strategic Communication (MASC) is NOT responsible for proofing information submitted for graphic design with the exception of references to the institution, one of our schools and/or logo usage.  If your document includes an incorrect reference to the institution or one of our three schools, MASC will correct.  We will also replace an incorrect logo.  

If you need your document proofed before sending to Medical and Strategic Communication, please engage the writing consultant in the library at https://lsuhs.tdnetdiscover.com/pages/7266/writing_consultants.  Response time for proofing will be dependent on deadlines of previously received projects.

► EVENT DATES: Event hosts are responsible for adding their event to the institutional calendar at inside.lsuhs.edu/inside-calendar. Please be aware that conflicting events will impact available resources for the event.

LSU Health Shreveport now uses Design Conductor for all new and updated business cards, letterhead, and envelopes.

ACCOUNT INFORMATION: Although we do not charge for Loanable Assets, we do request your account information. No charges will be assessed if undamaged items are returned within 5 working days of completion of event. Material charges, if requested, are additional.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Please contact Photography at trey.lankford@lsuhs.edu OR 675-5276 before submitting the work request in order to verify the availability of the photographer at your desired time. Please note, a work request will need to be completed for all photography.

Open studio hours are Mondays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Appointments are required for times outside of these hours.
 
If you have a lab coat please bring it for your portrait.
 
An hourly rate of $35.00/hour per photographer will be charged for entities outside LSUHS and all events (including LSUHS events) occurring outside of regular working hours--Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 4:30 pm to cover overtime. Location photography occurring outside of Shreveport/Bossier City will also be charged for travel expenses.

VIDEO SERVICES

DIGITAL EMAIL NEWSLETTER

Digital newsletters are designed using a template set up for individual departments / programs. The cost to send a digital newsletter is $10 per email for up to 1,000 recipients.

POSTER DESIGNING

Please submit your poster to MASC at your earliest opportunity to insure that there is enough time to complete the project by your deadline. For most posters there is a minimum five (5) business days turnaround, requests for posters to be delivered in less than five (5) business days will incur rush charges that are applied relative to the number of days of lead time provided.

EXPRESS POSTER PRINTING FOR POSTER SESSIONS ONLY!
 
EXPRESS POSTER is up to 44 x 72 inches in size. There is no proof provided and we do not edit the poster. Material upgrades are available for additional charge, specify in the Additional Instruction section. Express Posters have a 24 hour turnaround time, that does not mean “same day”. If you require same day delivery there may be a rush charge applied depending on our current production schedule.

Prior to picking up your item, you will need to go to the BURSAR'S OFFICE and make your payment. Once paid, you will bring your receipt to MASC to pick up your item. The Bursar's Office is located on the 1st Floor of the Medical School and their office hours are M-F, 8:15am - 3:15pm.
