COACHING STAFF

Nick Vier - Ramapo Boys Basketball Head Coach
Coach Nick Vier is entering his fourth season as the Ramapo Boys Basketball Head Coach. Coach Vier joined the Coaching Staff prior to the 18’-19’ Season and was an assistant on the Green Raiders back-to-back state championships in 19’ & 20’. In Vier's first season as Head Coach of Ramapo, the team captured a State Sectional Title finishing with a 23-7 record. In Coach’s second season as Head Coach, he led the Green Raiders to Ramapo’s first ever Group 3 State Championship with an overall record of 30-3. Vier has coached at the youth level with over 10 years of experience in addition to his 5 seasons at Ramapo High School. Coach Vier is a former Franklin Lakes resident and Bergen Catholic graduate (06’), where he was a 4-year varsity player and 1000-point scorer. Following high school, Coach Vier attended the University of Vermont on a full athletic scholarship, starting 4 years with a combined record of 90-42 and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2010.

Tyrell Biggs – Ramapo Boys Basketball Assistant Coach
Coach Biggs is entering his third season as Assistant Coach at Ramapo. Coach Biggs brings a wealth of both coaching and playing experience to Ramapo. Coach Biggs’ playing resume includes a storied career at Don Bosco Prep, receiving a full D1 scholarship to play at University of Pittsburgh where he started on the #1 team in the nation, and a long professional career. After graduating Pitt, Coach Biggs had stints in the NBA and G-League before having a long professional career overseas including stops in Israel, Cypress.

Craig Nichols - Ramapo Boys Basketball JV Coach
Coach Nichols is entering his 10th Season as an assistant at Ramapo. Coach Nichols has had a very successful run as the head coach of the Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Team at Ramapo High School. He has been coaching for over 19 years at both the high school and collegiate level.

Dan Ring- Ramapo Boys Basketball Freshman Coach
Coach Ring is entering his fifth season as the Ramapo Boys Basketball Freshman Coach and 17th season as a high school coach. Coach Ring is coming off another successful season in which he led the Freshmen team to a 2^nd overall seed in the Bergen County Jr. Jambo. Prior to Ramapo, Coach spent 8 years at Passaic Valley HS and 5 years at JFK HS in Paterson. Coach Ring graduated undergrad at Montclair State with a degree in Physical Education and Health, and completed his masters degree in Educational Leadership at William Paterson.

Current Ramapo High School Boys Basketball Team
Current members of the Ramapo Boys Basketball Team will be camp counselors as well as former Ramapo Basketball stars. Ramapo has 6 players either entering their first year of collegiate basketball or are currently playing at the college level. All of these players were campers at one time.

CAMP INFORMATION

LUNCH: Each camper must bring his own lunch to camp. Lunch is NOT provided. Pizza/drinks will be available daily for purchase

PIZZA/DRINKS/SNACKS: Campers will have the option to purchase pizza, water, gatorade and snacks daily.

CAMP INCLUDES: Outstanding staff to camper ratio, daily stations focusing on skill and fundamentals development, three indoor courts, camp contests, two full-court games each day, individual and team awards and sneakers for camper of the week!

DAILY DROP IN: We will offer Daily Drop Ins to anyone interested in single days of camp. Please email closer to the week of camp you are interested in a daily drop in. Daily drop ins will be $75 Cash at drop off.

Participation in the camp is not required for participation in the RIH sports programs.
