The Kenton County Academies of Innovation & Technology are unique because of the incorporation of motivational based education. In our program, scholars attend an academy for half their school day with the structure of two required, core classes and one career oriented class. Our career classes are specialized to meet the needs of our individual academies, and are taught in conjunction with the two core classes to make their experience more meaningful, therefore enhancing their motivation to learn. The three teachers in each academy collaborate daily to incorporate content from all three classes, and are essentially creating one large, career based block of the school day.
