Scholars scheduled for Academy classes will remain in the academies through the first six days of school as a trial period. After the trial period, if they choose, they will be permitted to reschedule into their home school classes or request placement in another academy on August 25th-August 26th, 2016. Upon rescheduling out of academy classes, their position in that academy will be forfeited and their spot will be given to a scholar on the waiting list.

I understand that submitting this application to the academy office gives the Kenton County Academies of Innovation and Technology permission to schedule my scholar in an academy listed above.  This application does not guarantee their position, but allows the academies to review the student for consideration. Upon acceptance, every effort will be made to enroll the scholar in their first choice academy as scholars are enrolled according to availability.  Scholars and parents will be notified if the second choice academy is the only available option before they are enrolled. While all credits are awarded using the home school’s policies, the academies are a yearlong program where each class lasts for the entire school year.
