Thank you for your interest in hosting a tabling event at one or both of our Residence Halls. Prior to completing your request, please review the following information below and reach out to residence-life@olucdenver.onmicrosoft.com if you have any questions.
Residence Tabling Overview:
- Tabling at Lynx Crossing or City Heights Residence halls require approval from a Residence Life Coordinator or Associate Director for Residence Life.
- Tabling Requests will only be approved for Campus or University sponsored programs (ex.: student organizations, departments, etc.) or organizations/services that will serve a purpose to residential students in alignment with the Lynx Living Curriculum.
- Tabling Events will only be approved between the hours of 10:00am and 8:00pm and will only be approved in Residence Hall Lobbies.
- Tabling events may only last up to three (3) hours.
- We recommend the following hours:
- Any time from 11am-2pm (lunch hours)
- Any time from 4pm-7pm (dinner hours)
- Tabling Events are not permitted during Quiet Hours, 24-Hour Quiet Hours, or Finals Week(s) unless approved by the Associate Director for Residence Life.
- Groups will be permitted to begin set-up 15 minutes prior to their approved event. It is the responsibility of the Requestee/Primary Contact to ensure the space is returned to its original status (: items removed, debris collected and disposed of, etc.).
- Tabling Requests should be submitted 15 business days prior to requested date. This will allow Residence Life Coordinator time to review your request for purpose and calendar for availability.
- Space is available on a first-come / first-serve basis and prioritized to align with our Lynx Living Curriculum.
- The Student Organizations unit in Student Life will need to review & confirm the request for any/all student organizations prior to the Residence Life Coordinator’s review. This form will automatically be sent to the Coordinator for Student Organizations on your behalf.
- Residence Life will either approve or deny your request and send you a confirmation email with the outcome within five (5) business days of request.
- If approved, student/organization will be provided with one (1) table and two (2) foldable chairs in the approved residence hall lobby.
- All Tabling Events and individuals hosting tabling events are subject to all CU Denver Code of Conduct and Housing & Dining Policies.
- Non-Housing affiliated groups are not permitted to host sales or fundraisers at any tabling event within or on residence hall property.
- A confirmation calendar appointment of approval will be sent to the Requestee/Primary Contact with instructions to access the halls.
Information needed for a complete Residence Life Tabling Request:
- First & Last Name, University email, and contact phone number of Requestee/Primary Contact
- University or Campus Affiliation
- Date or dates requested
- Residence Hall or halls requested
- Flyer or Advertisement for your tabling event
- Agreement to provide assessment information following event
- This includes providing flyer/marketing materials and attendance at event.
