After-School Enrichment Classes Are Back!

We have a great selection of extracurricular classes available this Spring for our students in Children's House and Elementary. Please select your child's group below to see the classes that are being offered.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, February 12th. Class sizes are limited. If a class is full, please email Jessica Vargas to be put on the waiting list.

Fall Enrichments

Kidokinetics
Monday - Price: $210+$35 annual enrollment fee = $245
(Note: Tuition for this class is paid in 2 installments)
(1 hour class: 7 weeks)

Kidokinetics is a mobile sports and fitness program that exposes children to sports in a non-competitive way. Our research-based lesson plans help the students develop their fine and gross motor skills, improve social skills, and increase their willingness to try new activities. Our goal is to help each child develop a love for physical activity, and just maybe, our programs will set the stage for a lifelong passion for a particular sport! CLICK HERE to see their flyer.


Kidokinetics
Mondays, 2:50 - 3:50 p.m.

Two payments of $105 + the $35 annual enrollment fee will be charged by Kidokinetics upon registration

Bucketeers
Wednesdays - Price: $160
(45 minute class: 8 weeks)

Bucketeers uses an innovative color-coded system applied to five-gallon buckets to allow children to learn & experience the art of percussion. Benefits include forging a foundation in rhythm, playing with a steady pulse, learning a variety of patterns, participating in collaborative movement activities, and developing hand-eye coordination. Students play along with a diverse set of music: children’s, pop, rock, jazz, and multi-genre songs in several languages incorporating beats and patterns from around the world. (1 hour class: 6 weeks)

Science Popularizer, Mr. Daniel, is back with his award-winning Science Enrichment Programs! Young scientists will explore the wonderful science of hydroponics, build an air-powered hovercraft, learn about weather and create underwater tornados, and use magic in a 2-part series about the Science of Color and Movies, and the Persistence of Vision! Designed to inspire confidence and creativity, the class offers activities like analyzing arguments, participating in mini-debates, and practicing persuasive techniques in group discussions. Through fun and interactive lessons, students will build essential skills, including organizing ideas, conducting research, and presenting arguments with clarity and respect. Our supportive environment encourages young learners to strengthen their reasoning abilities, develop leadership qualities, and confidently express their ideas.

Join CMS Adolescent Nova students for an exciting art camp where your children will be guided through various crafts including painting, sculpting, tie dye and more! The Knight School
Thursdays - Price: $280 (+ $80 supply fee for new students only)
(75 minute class: 8 weeks)

Take the plunge and join Coach Sal as we laugh and train in daily mardi-gras bead chess tourneys and compete for prizes in our daily music-driven chess puzzlers and watch zany chess movies. Our high-energy chess classes are developmentally and cleverly targeted Lower and Upper Elementary Students. Beginners are welcome.
