Please note, electricity and/or internet is not provided to booth sites. BRMS does not rent tents. Tents are available at Frager's Just Ask Rental. Call (202) 543-0100 or visit their website here. Book early, they have limited numbers of tents. 
 
BRMS reserves the right to cancel any and all applications prior to the event date. This event will be held rain or shine. Barracks Row reserves the right to cancel the event due to dangerous weather conditions, or unforeseen disaster. In that case, no refunds will be available. Dangerous Weather Cancelation will be announced on BRMS website by no later than 7:00 a.m on September 23, 2016.

Only cuisines that do not compete with Barracks Row Restaurants will be considered. There is limited space available for food vendors. Please call (202) 544-3188 to check how many spaces remain. 

Vendor is responsible for any harm, bodily damage, or property damage from their equipment, cooking hardware or material.

Vendor must provide a secure and protected cooking area.

The Department of Health has guidelines that you must understand and comply with to serve food at the festival. Inspections will take place throughout the event and close down any vendor not in compliance with the guidelines.

You must attend a briefing by the DC Fire and Sanitation Inspector to be scheduled in mid September 2016. You will be contacted by Barracks Row Main Street when meeting date is set.

To be a vendor at Barracks Row Fall Festival on Capitol Hill, payment must accompany Application; We accept checks, cashier’s checks or money orders, but NOT CASH. Call 202-544-3188 to pay by credit card. If your organization only makes payments against an invoice please check the box on Page 1 in the Calculate Your Application Fee section and we will send you and invoice. There is a $25.00 returned check fee.

Applications are due Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017. A $20.00 late fee will be charged after September 12.

Any electric generator used on site must be quiet so as not to distract other vendors or the stage performance. The Festival Director will determine if a generator is too noisy and may order its removal from the Festival area.

No loudspeakers, amplified boom boxes, sound systems or portable bullhorns are allowed without the

written consent of the Festival Director.

Vendor assumes full responsibility for safe return of rented table and two chairs. In the event of loss or damage, the vendor will reimburse BRMS $100 per table and $25 per chair. Barracks Row does not rent Tents. For tent rental nearby contact Frager’s Just Ask Rental at 202-543-0100. 10 X 10 tents are available.

Barracks Row Main Street reserves the right to decline applications based on too many applications already accepted in a category and/or exclusivity rights that may be in place for the event. If a category is over-subscribed (for instance too many T shirt booths) vendor fee will be returned to applicant as soon as possible. If applicant wishes to change category and sell something else, every attempt will be made to accommodate the vendor.

Spaces are assigned by the Promotions Committee/Festival Director to create maximum pedestrian flow, promote maximum vendor exposure and maintain accessibility to BRMS retailers. Please see Information packet for a full description of a booth space at Barracks Row Fall Festival. All Vendor displays must be contained within 10 X 10 booth site perimeter.

Dangerous Weather Cancelation will be announced on BRMS website no later than Sept. 23, 2017 by 7:00 a.m.

Vendors who cancel must let BRMS know by September 15, 2017. No refunds will be issued for any reason after that date.

Vendor agrees to comply with event rules and regulations as stated in both the Information packet and Application. Please read both documents for explanation and clarification.

Vendor will not hold Barracks Row Main Street, its directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents, or volunteers responsible for any accident or injury incurred during this event. Vendor further agrees to hold Barracks Row Main Street, its directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents, or volunteers harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, and actions that Barracks Row Main Street, its directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents, or volunteers may sustain or incur, directly or indirectly, as a result of any action or inaction of Vendor or any of Vendor’s employees, agents, or volunteers in connection with Vendor’s participation in this event.
