Participant Agreements

Photo/Video Agreement & Media Consent

All Film Fest attendees are required to acknowledge MOSSA’s policy regarding Film Fest photography and videography:

Photography and videography, by anyone other than MOSSA staff, is prohibited during filming. Participant photography and videography during workouts and transitions – and during breaks in filming – is distracting to presenters and crew, can disrupt shooting, and simply takes away from the immersive experience of Film Fest. Film Fest participants may take photos and videos before and after rehearsals and filmings, when appropriate.

MOSSA reserves the right to remove any participant who violates this agreement.

Additionally, this serves as acknowledgement that MOSSA staff will take photos and videos throughout all Film Fest events, and the participant grants consent for MOSSA to use those images and videos for social media and other marketing.

Confidentiality Agreement

  1. Definitions. When used in this agreement (the “Agreement”), the following terms shall have the following meanings:

“Effective Date”:              July 15, 2024

“Individual”:                    ___________________________

“STEP”:                         The Step Company d/b/a MOSSA

Regarding:                     Confidential Information

  1. Non-Disclosure. In recognition of the need of (MOSSA) to protect its legitimate business interests, Individual hereby agrees that Individual will regard and treat all Confidential Information as confidential and will not disclose any of the Confidential Information to another individual or entity except as authorized by (MOSSA) in writing for one (1) year from the Effective Date. Individual acknowledges that any violation of this Section by him/her would cause irreparable injury and damage to MOSSA which are special, unique and of extraordinary character such that if Individual makes or threatens any disclosure of Confidential Information, MOSSA will be entitled to obtain immediate relief and remedies in a court of competent jurisdiction, including, without limitation, preliminary or permanent injunctive relief.  Individual further acknowledges that in the event that Individual violates this Agreement MOSSA will be without adequate remedy at law.  Individual agrees, therefore, in such event, MOSSA may, in addition to any remedies at law for damages or other equitable, injunctive or legal relief, recover from Individual all costs of enforcement of the Agreement, including, but not limited to, court costs and reasonable attorney's fees.  This Agreement shall not be modified except in a writing executed by both parties, supersedes all oral or written agreements regarding the subject matter hereof and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and decisions of the state of Georgia. 

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed or caused their duly authorized representatives to execute this Agreement as of the Effective Date.

Safety Agreement

EMPLOYEE/GUEST HEALTH WARRANTY: Employee/guest represents that he or she is in good physical condition and able to use The Step Company facilities.  Employee/guest fully understands and agrees that by participating in one or more of The Step Company facilities or the programs offered therein, there is the possibility of accidental or other physical injury.  Employee/guest further agrees to assume the risk of such injury and further agrees to indemnify The Step Company from any and all liability resulting from the actions of employee/guest or third parties at the facilities.  It is a Step Company policy that any individual with a history of heart disease should consult a physician before utilizing the facility.

THE STEP COMPANY LIMIT OF LIABILITY:  Employee/guest hereby releases The Step Company and waives any and all claims against The Step Company, its officers, employees and agents.  Employee/guest agrees to hold The Step Company, its officers, employees and agents harmless from liability, claims, damages actions or causes of action for any injury, loss or damage arising from the use of The Step Company facility.  The above described release and waiver encompasses any injuries, loss or damage resulting from the negligence or carelessness of The Step Company, its officers, employees or agents (but excludes willful or wanton misconduct) and also includes loss or damage to personal property of the employee/guest at The Step Company facility.
