The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Respect (DEIR) at American Chemical Society (ACS) is excited to host a town hall where students can ask established scientists about career paths in chemistry. This virtual event will allow undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to connect with several members of the ACS Board of Directors to hear their experiences and ask questions about building career journeys through the chemistry enterprise.
Participants will gain:
- Knowledge about some of the many options of careers in chemistry and how they intersect with global challenges
- Enhanced understanding of the strengths and skillsets needed to develop careers in chemistry
- Better appreciation of how ACS can support them in their pursuit of education and professional development in chemistry enterprise
