Tartan Parade submissions

Tartan Day Parade - NYC, 05 April 2025

We're looking for Edinburgh Fringe enthusiasts and Scots from across the globe to join our cohort in the Tartan Day Parade in New York this April. The parade is a focal moment in the Tartan Week calendar, celebrating the city's Scottish heritage and marking Scotland's role in American Independence.

In 2025, the 26th Annual New York Tartan Day Parade is on 05 April at 2pm. The Parade starts on 45th Street and moves up 6th Avenue to 55th Street. Hundreds of bagpipers and drummers in bands from all over America join the parade, as well as representatives like us from Scotland and its organisations who have travelled to take part in the celebrations.

Here at the Fringe Society, we are proud of our global reach and our Scotland-US connections.
