First Grade Parent/Child Bible Presentations are Sunday, February 4, 2024 during all four Worship Services (8am, 9am, 10:15am & 11:30am).

The First Grade Bible Presentation is an opportunity to make a meaningful statement to your child by making a public promise to teach them the Bible.

Which service will your family participate in? (Please arrive 20 minutes before the service) *

LOGISTICS

-We will meet and line up in the hall to the right of the worship center 20 minutes before each service.

-You will be provided with a Bible, a copy of the “Bible Promise,” and a certificate to sign.

-We will enter the worship center a few minutes before the start of the service.

-You and your first grader will be led to stand on the stage in front of the congregation.

-You’ll be asked to look at your child, hand them the Bible and repeat the Bible Promise. A pastor will read the promise one line at a time for you to repeat.

THE BIBLE PROMISE

This book is a special book.

It is completely true.

It is God’s Word.

It is the story of God’s Plan for Jesus to rescue us.

I want you to know Jesus.

I promise to teach you this book.

-Upon completing the promise, the congregation will be led in a prayer for you and your child

-We will provide a kid’s CSB study bible. Pastor Jordan preaches with the CSB. You are free to present another bible if you wish.
