The Florida crew is excited to bring you the first tournament of 2024 with the Citrus Classic! As our tournament gets closer we will be sending out more detailed information about the weekend to help make your trip to the sunshine state the best it can be!
But, for now, here are a few key points you need to know to get you started in your prep for a great weekend of polocrosse!

When can you show up?
Players are welcome to arrive beginning Thursday, March 7th and must depart by Monday, March 10th.
Accomodations:
No Stalls or RV Hook-Ups available. Primitive Camping with e-penning ONLY.
Limited water supply sources so bring those water tanks to fill up for your pens!
Lake City is near by (15-20minutes) with plenty of hotel accomodations if you choose to not stay on site.
Tournament Check In / Meetings:
Check in will open Friday afternoon with tournament and umpire meetings to follow.

When does tournament play begin?
Tournament play will be Saturday and Sunday.
In the best interest of our horses this will be a multi-horse tournament with 3 section games when scheduling allows. Games will be played in a 6-minute chukka format.
Chuckles will be played 1x each day depending on turn out.
E grade division will be walk trot. The canter will be allowed ONLY if both teams agree to this speed. To be discussed at the start of each E grade match up.

Coastal and Alfalfa Hay will be available to purchase on site!

All dogs MUST be on a leash at all times
No Fires or idleing vehicles
No smoking on site or underage drinking
Speakers for hype music? Encouraged.
You'll be in springs country so worth a visit if you come early or leave late. Our tournament will be right down the road from Little River Springs and within a 20 minute drive of all of our other natural springs and rivers!
