Front of House Manager 

Auchrannie Resort is looking for an Awesome Front of House Manager. This is one of the most exciting Front of House roles on the market right now and we are looking for a truly exceptional people person.

You will work in partnership with our Business Development Manager managing our Reception, Reservations, Country Club and ASPA departments giving you a huge scope for training and developing these Awesome teams.

As someone with outstanding customer service skills, a thorough knowledge of Opera PMS (& preferably OPERA Configuration) and the proven ability to motivate and develop teams and managers at all levels you will know what it takes to deliver Awesome standards of service consistently to both our guests and our teams.

Revenue and Business Development Assistant

Are you good with numbers and enjoy the challenge of interpreting data and statistics?

You might not have experience of Hotels business development systems but if you a logical thinker and enjoy working with data to identify trending patterns then this role could be just for you.

We are looking for someone to assist our Business Development Manager in the performance of the department, with a wide range of responsibilities, this is a truly exciting and varied role.

You will be involved in ensuring we are maximising our potential through various websites and booking agents that we use, you will also offer full administrative support across the department including liasing with Business Partners.

An interest in social media, advertising and promotions is an advantage as you will be updating our Social Media streams responding to interaction, formulating ideas and collating statistics.

We are looking for an awesome individual with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular advanced Excel skills as well as Micros Opera (PMS), excellent organizational and customer care skills, a pleasant telephone manner and perhaps most importantly a desire to take a long term and active role in the growth and development of the department.

Assistant Restaurant Manager - Floating

This role is unique - you will be working across all 3 of our Restaurants requiring flexibilty, excellent communication skills and a genuine ability to change direction at a moments notice.

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager who wants to spread their wings and experience different restaurants and challenges on a daily basis. Ideally you are currently in a similar role within a 4/5 star hotel or high quality restaurant brand and knows what it takes to support the management of the team while ensuring exceptional guest service.

Predominantly based in our biggest Restaurant, Cruize we are looking for an experienced and truly Awesome Assistant Restaurant Manager who is ready to step up to join the award winning Auchrannie Resort.

You will be a hands on support working in partnership with the Restaurant Managers in leading and developing the team. You will drive forward and continuously look for ways of improving our service standards within the restaurant whilst assisting with maximising revenue opportunities.

Breakfast Manager

Our Breakfast Manager will enhance our guest's morning in our busiest restaurant Cruize. This role is perfect for an experienced Supervisor now looking for your first step up to managing your own shift. This role will give you the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills. Ideally you are already working in a high volume breakfast service in a 4/5* Hotel, Resort or Conference venue.

We are looking for someone with an amazing personality and passion for their role, someone who brings their own Awesome ray of sunshine to the mornings for our team and our guests!

Reporting to the Cruize Restaurant Manager you will be a hands on support in developing and mentoring our team, ensuring a consistently Awesome level of service for our guests. You will have input in any projects surrounding the improvement of our menus and service and we will welcome your innovative ideas and suggestions.

Chef de Partie 

We are currently looking for a Chef de Partie for our Award winning restaurants, Brambles Seafood & Grill.

This role is pivotal in assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain the smooth running of the kitchen operations.

We are looking for a energetic, motivated Chef who want to step up their career development and really show the world their passion for this incredible industry.

You should be able to capably take charge of one area of the kitchen, preparing dishes as delegated by Sous Chef to the required standard and within the allocated time and experience in supervising Commis Chefs in the preparation and cooking of menu items would be ideal.

Maintenance Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to work alongside our Estates Manager in maintaining the whole resort as well as recruiting and developing our team.

You will be involved in scheduling and costing of planned projects and scheduling a detailed preventative maintenance programme as well as accurate recording of all statutory checks, purchases and warranties.

You will be extensively experience in all types of maintenance ideally with a Hotel or large Resort and you will also have supervisory experience. A driving licence is essential for this role.

Recreations/Leisure Assistant 

As Scotland’s first and only Employee Owned resort, Auchrannie offer you the opportunity to influence your future as part of the team in one of the country’s Premier Resorts.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about all aspects of Recreations.

This role compasses all of our Recreations facilities which include 2 indoor swimming pools, heat experience rooms, gym, games hall, Playbarn and the Arran Adventure company.

Your role will include the following reponsibilities:

  • Lifeguarding and pool testing in both of our two indoor pools
  • Reception, supervision and customer care in the leisure clubs, playbarn and Arran Adventure
  • Opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge by becoming a Segway, gorge walking and /or archery instructor at Arran Adventure or to lead fitness classes in our gym, pool and studio.
  • You will be responsible for cleaning, set up and routine maintenance duties in all areas of the Recreations Department
  • You will be expected to deliver an awesome experience to our guests and assist the Recreations Manager and other staff members in the efficient running of the facilities.

 Your skills & personal attributes

  • Pool Lifeguard or Pool Responder Certificate preferred
  • Un certificated candidates must be strong and competent swimmers who are expected to attain award standard within one month
  • Team player with awesome customer care skills
  • An interest in sport, recreation and the outdoors
  • Strong work ethic, professional attitude, a passion for what you do, and a personality

Housekeeping Assistant

We are looking for a full time and part time housekeepers to join our hard working housekeeping department. You will work between the 4 star House Hotel and Spa Resort as well as the 5 star luxury lodges. This is a challenging role with hard work and attention to detail being high on the list of requirements.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning guest's rooms and lodges to the high standards expected
  • Reporting any maintenance requirements in rooms, lodges and throughout the resort
  • Ensuring that trolleys and boxes are filled daily and that they are in place for daily duties to be carried out
  • Public Areas cleaning is carried out to excellent high standards with as little disturbance to guests as possible
  • To ensure that all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.

You should ideally have experience in a similar role within a 4/5 star establishment, have a passion for what you do and a key eye for detail. Ideally you will have customer service and team work experience and a good work ethic with a proven track record of reliability

Food & Beverage Assistants

Working across our 3 award winning restaurants you will be the front face of our Food and Beverage Operations.We have full time and part time positions available where you can work either just breakfast shifts or evening shifts. Some of the responsibilities of this role are:

  • Service-To provide the correct level of service as documented at all times in the Restaurant including functions, serving food and drinks to customers.
  • Areas-Restaurant and Bar areas, Cloakrooms, Cellar, Still Room Areas.
  • Shared responsibility with Kitchen for areas outside Kitchen Back Door and shared responsibility for bottle storage area.
  • Equipment - All cleaning of furniture, fittings and equipment in the above areas.
  • Cash - correct handling, including all aspects of cash control.
  • Hygiene - Maintaining of environmental health and hygiene standards as laid down to meet current regulations.

Ideally you will have customer service and team work experience, with a passion for providing excellent customer care. Flexible working hours are available and to accommodate travel for those who live locally.
